Welcome to my blog! I am currently a graduate student studying graphic design at Fort Hays State University. I began assistant teaching in entry-level design courses here a year ago and noticed that a lot of paper was used for each project and assignment. With the web at my disposal, I decided to start creating web tutorials that design professors and students can use in the classroom. This blog is my way of linking all of these together. I am sure there are other tutorials that designers have created and I hope they will email me with there designs so I can post them here and get the tutorials in front of the professors and students. I hope to create tutorials about such topics like grid design, color theory, typography, etc. My intention is to not have these tutorials take the place of graphic design instruction, rather assist professors in teaching and serve as an aid for students.

In addition to these tutorials, this blog acts as a resource for keeping myself as well as others up to date with the latest and greatest happenings in graphic design.
